Learn more about the Y

YMCAs are the largest not-for-profit community service organization in America working toward a future where everyone's potential can be fulfilled. We offer opportunities throughout the Chicagoland area to make an impact today and tomorrow. The full scope of what we do is impossible to list here, but the opportunities for you to learn, lead and serve in vital, far-reaching work are virtually limitless.

Does this sound like a mission you'd like to support?

Many YMCA employees start their careers as member-service coordinators, swim instructors, lifeguards, health and fitness trainers, child care and camp counselors, community outreach directors, and sports directors. But not all YMCA jobs are specifically tied to a program area. YMCAs also offer opportunities in human resources, finance, computers, facility management, marketing and public relations, fundraising and just about any other field you can think of.

Select a program area that interests you and learn more about YMCA staff experiences.
