Housing

Hotel/Room Accommodations

If you’re traveling in the area and need a room, the only Y that can accept short-term residents is the Leaning Tower YMCA in Niles.

Supportive Housing

The YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago is one of the largest supportive housing providers in the Midwest, offering more than 1,500 affordable units at five YMCA locations: Austin, Irving Park, Lake View, Lawson House and Leaning Tower.

Because some of our residents need extra help, we also offer supportive services, including free medical care, case management, job training, food and clothing, support groups and more.

For more information, please call 312.932.1166

Senior/HUD

We offer more than 450 apartments for low-income seniors at six locations in southern Cook County. Seniors receive rental subsidies and utility assistance, and a social service coordinator is available at each site to help residents access medical, food, transportation and clothing assistance.

For more information, please call 312.932.1200

Homeless Youth and Young Adults

In Midlothian, IL, the Y provides safe and secure housing for homeless youth and young adults. Our services help them develop the necessary skills to live independently and graduate to a permanent living situation.

For more information, please call the Y Network at 708.385.6700
